Living in France | Student visa application
If you’re not citizens of a member state of the EU, and you want to stay long term in France, you should apply for get a visa in your country.
For studying in France more than 90days, you should apply for long stay “STUDENT” visa.
Before start the visa procedure with Consulate General of the France in your country, you must apply first with Campus France. The completion of the Campus France procedure is a mandatory pre-requisite to the student visa application. So, first of all, you subscribe to Campus France website in your country and submit all required documents. After this procedure, you will have an interview with Campus France.
While the interview, the interviewer will ask you about:
- Your motivation for study in France
- Your career aim after acquisition of French academic degree.
You should prepare well for answering the questions clearly.
Beware! Even though you finished all procedures and the interview with Campus France, it’s not guaranteed the issuance of a visa.
So, don’t forget the reason that you apply student visa is :
- Studying and getting an academic degree in France
And
- Return to your country after your studies in France
After all your procedures with Campus France, you can make the visa application at the Consulate of the France.
