How to get your first Vitale card?
Dear friends, we all know that it is hard to lead a student life in France, such as requesting the CAF, opening an electricity account, school registration and CVEC… But the biggest problem for everyone is to open an Améli account and demand the Vitale card.
France is a country equipped with a integrate medical insurance system. International students can benefit from the same social insurance just like French students, and they could obtain up to 70% of the reimbursement in their medical treatment. In addition, from the school year of 2018, the health insurance system for students in France was reformed and the new CVEC (La Contribution Vie Etudiante et de Camps) replaced La Sécurité Sociale Etudiante. The former charge 217 euros per year, but now it costs only 90 euros. Let’s take a quick look at of it!
