Interview with Ms MA for successful Delf B2 Certificate
Here is good news for the school. Ms. MA, student of AAA regular intensive French course has successfully obtained her DELF B2 certificate.👏👏👏
MA talks about her experience in this interview to support those who plan to obtain the same type of certificate. At the time of her exam in March this year, she was in the B1-3 class. She explains that she decided to take our DELF / DALF Preparation course, in order to be sure of being able to pass the exam at the first time.
- How do you work at home? Do you rework on exercises done in class? Did you buy an exercise book separately?
Ms.MA: I redid the exercises given in class and completed my revision with the manual: Succeed the DELF B2.
- Which language skills do you find most difficult to master?
Ms.MA: The oral comprehension. Because oral production and written production have a particular methodology of work. While listening requires the accumulation of listening experience and general knowledge about the world of the Francophone. It is a long process.
- How did you work on this language skill?
Ms.MA: I watched a lot of videos on YouTube. When I watched videos, I watched the same clip at least three times. The first time was to understand the generality of the clip without the transcription. As for the second time, I was trying to find more detailed information without the subtitles. Finally, I checked my understanding with the subtitles. As for the written production, the teacher taught us to dissect the subject and make the plan. I trained alone to write texts with different subjects during timed times. In progress, we were able to watch with the teacher the evaluation grid of the written exercise. This gave me some leads to work on to avoid losing valuable points.
- How much time did you spend preparing for the exam?
Ms.MA: I took a month of Prep Course at A.A.A. Then I gave myself a month to review the exam
- In which examination center did you take the exam? How was this center?
Ms.MA: I took the exam at the Vichy exam center because the registration was already closed in all the Paris exam centers. In general, we have more candidates in Paris than elsewhere. As a result, registration could even be closed well in advance. It is for this reason that if you want to take the exam in one of the centers of Paris, you must send the application file at least a month and a half before the exam.
- How long did it take to get the exam result?
Ms.MA: I received my result two weeks after the exam. This is a relatively short time compared to the time offered by the examination centers in Paris.
- What kind of preparation did you do on the exam day?
Ms. MA: You can only bring a bottle of water and black ink pens into the room.
- What are the things you could have done better? What are your tips for your classmates who plan to take the same exam?
Mme.MA : La production orale.
- What do you think of A.A.A’s DELF / DALF Preparation Course?
Ms. MA: I think Nicolas, our trainer, is an excellent teacher. He taught me the basics of written French. In addition, the revision documents provided by the professor were very useful.
- Why did you take this exam?
Ms. MA: For the professional reason. To prove my language skills, I realized that a certificate is essential. The DELF / DALF diploma is generally well accepted by any type of organization.
Here is the result sent by Ms MA. Congratulations to Mss MA !!!
